Rev. Dr. St. Clair Mitchell

Rev. Dr. St. Clair Mitchell was born and raised in the British West Indies. While still a teenager, he accepted the Lord and was subsequently called to the Ministry.

Through a miracle of God’s provision, he received a scholarship to study in the United States, after which he returned to his Island Nation of Dominica.

In Dominica, he served in several capacities among which were Pastor and District Superintendent.

In 1991, the Mitchell family moved to the United States where Dr. Mitchell served as the Executive Director of S.T.E.P. Ministries Richmond (Strategies to Elevate People). He also served as the Director of Church Development/Home Missions for the Potomac District. Since 2003, he has been the Senior Pastor of Evangel Assembly, Temple Hills, Maryland. Dr. Mitchell is the founder and president of S.T.E.P. Dominica, and S.T.E.P. USA, and served as the President of Teen Challenge, Maryland. As the founder of The International Ministerial Network, Dr. Mitchell provides mentorship to more than 250 pastors and ministers around the world. He currently presides as the Chairman and Presbyter of the International Fellowship of Ministers, an organization providing coaching and credentialing to more than 50 ministers. He also serves as the Founder and Chancellor of St. Clair College of Ministry.

Dr. Mitchell is an ordained Assemblies of God Minister, a Certified Counselor, and is trained in Leadership Assessment, Church Evaluations, Coaching and Mentoring Church Leadership.

He has earned Undergraduate Degrees in Practical Theology and Church Ministries and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. Dr. Mitchell has earned Doctorates of Divinity from Logos University and from the United Nations.

Dr. St. Clair Mitchell and his wife Judith have four children: three girls; Joye, Joyette, and Jasmine; and one son, James.
