Pastor Demetrus and Mrs. Alisha Sutton

Alisha and I moved to Maryland from North Carolina in 2007 with the belief that together with God, we can impact leaders and Kingdoms through the action message of God’s perfect word. We joined Evangel Assembly of God after recognizing the diversity of a genuine Love demonstrated from the first greeting to the last encouraging word prior to going home on Sundays. Seeing the need, we desired to serve Evangel’s Young Adult Ministry; Evangel College and Career Ministry (ECCM).

As children of Military Service members and a 10 year Veteran of the USAF (Demetrus), we understand the benefits of service. As college graduates, we know the value and benefits of education. As children of God, we know the importance of having a potent relationship with Jesus Christ. How can we impact the world if we have not been impacted by the love and joy that Jesus brings through the Holy Spirit? It is my belief that this society and generations beyond can only benefit from “Getting to know God and making him known.”
